Seriously though, kids these days are so eager to lick boot and call it rebellion. If you say unalive instead of kill because you'll lose your funding, congratz, you let them censor you. "They'lltake away our revenue!" And? Rebellion comes with consequences, change is a fight, protecting your values comes at a cost.
If you never pull at the leash, it doesn't matter how much you bark, you're still going where they want you to.
what the fuck does "grippy socks visit to the hospital" mean
It means getting institutionalised in a mental health facility. These facilities issue socks with grip heels instead of shoes (like toddler socks but in adult sizes) as one of many methods to reduce the patients' access to self harm tools. (It may also be called "grippy sock jail" or "a grippy sock holiday".)

sonic has another usual, routine fight with eggman, and eggman deploys an entirely new badnik, one with a more complex design, and sonic goes "yo that looks sick as FUCK". then he destroys it and sends eggman running. and then through sheer willpower he manages to drag and push and pull this wrecked badnik thats twice his size across the continent to tails' workshop and dumps it on his front porch like a cat bringing it's owner a dead bird, because he thinks tails would like the new design. tails is delighted

One thing in the Ruin DLC that I don’t see a lot of other people talking about, that hit allll my creepy buttons, is the fact that every once in awhile, the objective tool tip text on the pause menu will, um, stop being a regular UI tool tip that explains what you’re suppose to be doing, and… get very chatty-
Also leads to THIS, not so much creepy, but interesting little thinker tidbit:
